Only useable at low tide, unless you fancy an unplanned swim. They're tricky but manageable, and you will be the entertainment for anyone sitting in the garden of the adjacent Ship Inn. Check the tide tables

Take a step into history through the woodland trails between Lansallos and the coast. Once used by smugglers, it is easy to imagine them hiding out in the darkness of the night.

Lerryn is a village on the River Lerryn and a quiet place to stop by the waterway. It is said to have inspired Kenneth Graham's 'Tales of the Riverbank'. Alongside picnic benches for lunch there is an Elizabethan bridge and stepping stones across the river at low tide. There are also a village stores and a pub.

Lovely National Trust campsite. Clean, spacious, not overrun and great views across the water. Easy access straight down to Lansallos Beach or Parsons Cove. Ideal stop off campsite for those walking the SWCP, or access by vehicle for longer stays.

Stepping stones across the River Lerryn. Useful for crossing right next to the free car park over to the footpaths. The Lerryn is still tidal at this point so it might not be passable at high tide or when the river's swollen!
