Friendly little cafe - dogs allowed inside

Lovely place to visit and sit outside. We stopped there recently for coffee and cake, thoroughly enjoyed it with excellent service. They will accept cash so will get my business in the future.

Network of Byways - single track/farm tracks - connecting the villages Lt Gransden/Waresley/Hatley St George/East Hatlley and beyond - pleasant with fast sections (gravel/mtb 🚲).

Hail Lane is a byway linking the B1046 near Abbotsley with the Medieval Village of Weald and the A428, Cambridge Road. It is narrow and green with plenty of vegetation so it is worth looking out for butterflies during the summer.

A lovely stop on the way between Bedford and St Neots. Cycling friendly and good coffee.

Great bacon sarnies, amongst other treats.

Roxton, nestled by the River Great Ouse, is a small but charming Bedfordshire village. It is on the route of the Ouse Valley Way, a long-distance footpath that follows the river from source to sea. The best accommodation options in the village are Church Farm B&B and the Royal Oak, which also serves great pub food.
