ドイントンでの周辺の簡単なハイキングとウォーキング

A fun off road route around the quarry. It's good fun in either direction. This bridleway is used by lots of horse riders, so keep that in mind when the descents get really fun!

Waking in direction indicated and all the footpaths in golden valley are blocked and closed due to unsafe trees from ash die back

there's a tap on the building where you can top up water

Don’t park in Rose & Crown Car Park, understandably they get annoyed.

Commemorates Civil War Royalist commander Sir Bevil Grenville who was mortally wounded at the Battle of Lansdowne which took place here 1643.

A long and fun descent next to the quarry followed by a short technical climb after the stream... or vice versa.

Grassy at the southern end, but turns into a brilliant descent on a gravel track, not too steep, but after the stream there is a technical climb, but it's quite short.

Hanging Hill at 237m is the County/Unitary High Point of South Gloucester at Not a bad little stroll. Not much by way of parking here. A trig pointed summit with good views.
