great little place

A welcoming pub on the outskirts of Manton

Lots of bike racks. Great food and coffee. Outdoor coffee hut in summer months.

Keep close to the brakes as there is a road at the bottom and often horses

The garden can get rammed, don't worry, there's another pub a bit further on

The church dates from the 12th century and doesn't have a tower. The 14th-century south porch has a parvise not connected to the body of the church. It also has two scratch dials. There is a double bell-cote on top of the 13th-century west front. The nave is Norman and has a clerestory built in the 14th century. A poorbox dating from 1637 is near the bell-shaped font.

Fabulous Church with some very old features. Usually open. Belton-in-Rutland was a settlement in the Leighfield forest which explains it's precise square layout, with the houses used like wagon trains circled around a clearing to protect livestock

Decent amount of out door seating and loads of bike parking space.
