It's actually Rivey Hill not River Hill :-)

This spot was a nice surprise, in winter I can see this place being hard to cycle. As can get muddy and wet. It's a bit of a steep climb. So it's gonna be a great effort. It has a nice stream going down and even is a bit demanding the climb is a fun and beautiful one.

At 367 feet (112 m) above sea level, Rivey Hill is one of the highest points in Cambridgeshire and affords great views. What makes the hill particularly distinctive, though, is Rivey Hill Water Tower, which can be seen for miles around. Constructed between 1934-36, the striking Art Deco tower is 98 feet (30 m) high.

In a serene spot on the outskirts of Balsham, the Church of Holy Trinity is a picturesque place of worship that dates to the 13th century. Boasting medieval stained glass in the north aisle, a 13th-century font, and fine examples of 15th-century choir stalls, the Grade I-listed church is well worth a visit.

Typically water-logged gravel track descent from the Linton Water tower on Rivey Hill to the village of Linton. Dries up a bit in the summer months, but you'll get your feet wet in the other seasons!
