Great place to park, the visitors centre is so interesting and the staff are great.

If your luck you might bump into this fabulous warden, we walked with him for about 25min he was incredibly knowledgeable about everything to do with the wildlife that visit the reserve. We were so glad we met him and learned a lot about the reserve and some of the birds that visit.

Cley is the essence of a North North coastal village. The mill adds drama to the scene.

A long paved boardwalk leads you to Blakeney Point, aka seal watching heaven. If you're not busy watching the masses of seals and pups that call this shingle spit home, then you can enjoy tremendous views across the salt marshes and muddy inlets, and out to the beautiful North Sea. Salthouse Marshes is a fantastic place for birdwatching. It links together with Cley Marshes to the west to create a 300 hectare reserve.

There are beautiful tracks through the Summer House Hill Plantation. A permissive bridleway passes through it which is open to the public.

The River Glaven meanders through grazing meadow here on its way past Glandford and out to sea at Blakeney Point. It is a lovely calm place for hiking.

This bakery is a Suffolk gem which has graciously spread into neighbouring Norfolk. A bracing walk into the wind was rewarded with a dark hot chocolate, toasted stollen and Brandy cream, delicious

Cley Marshes is a nature reserve on the picturesque North Norfolk coastline. It is one of the oldest nature reserves in the country. Hiking here affords the opportunity to explore both coastal and wetland habitats and is especially good for birdwatching.
