Old watchtower made of masonry and circular. These towers, of which you will see more than one on the coast of Cabo de Gata, were used to warn of the sighting of enemy ships by setting fire to their upper part.

This hotel, whose construction was paralyzed in 2006, has become an icon of unbridled urban development for decades on the Spanish coasts. Its demolition does not arrive, despite criticism and pressure from environmental and neighborhood organizations. Meanwhile, this mass of more than 400 rooms less than 15 meters from the beach remains like a ghost that makes one think of so many other similar projects that will never be demolished.
