Grüntensee周辺の素晴らしいトレイル

A small, idyllic lake near Wertach. You can cycle very close to the southern shore.

The circuit around the lake is about 8-10 km long and can be cycled at a leisurely pace. The level of difficulty is easy to medium, and the route is also suitable for beginners and families. It is mostly flat, but there are a few small climbs. There are fantastic views of the Grünten, the “guardian of the Allgäu”, and the surrounding Alps. There are numerous opportunities to take a break along the shore and enjoy the great views.

The Grüntensee is a worthwhile destination for a bike tour, as the surrounding area offers beautiful landscapes and well-developed cycle paths. We really enjoyed cycling around this idyllic lake. There are also a number of picturesque places that invite you to take a break and simply enjoy the area. The route is also not to be underestimated as a hiking trail.

The Wertach is a 141 km long left tributary of the Lech in the administrative district of Swabia in Bavaria, including its longest source. The two mountain streams from which the Wertach flows together merge at 1,078 m above sea level, and the Wertach flows into the Lech at 461 m above sea level in Augsburg. It drains a catchment area of 1,440 km².

From here you have a wonderful view over the Grüntensee and the mountains. In the background rises the Grünten, the so-called guardian of the Allgäu. Not far from here you will find a bathing beach and a place to stop for a bite to eat.
