The village church is a simple, Baroque plastered building dating from 1765 with a choir, nave, a small transept, and a west tower with a turret. Inside, the church features a wooden altar screen. The organ dates from 1861 and was built by the Berlin organ builder Wilhelm Remler. I don't know why this is called a picnic area; I don't remember any seating, and the photos don't show any. It's still a nice view.
