The field edge path south of the lake offers occasional views of the lake and a particularly beautiful bathing area, although this is in the shade of two linden trees.

The small, often dried-up stream without a name continues along the Treene.

Here at the bathing area with shallow sandy entry, there is an idyllic bench under a huge double lime tree.

The Muggesfelde estate from 1725 is now privately owned by Dr. Arendt Oetker (THE Dr. Oetker). The gatehouse is clearly visible from the street. Unauthorized persons are not allowed to enter the estate behind it. A 🅿️ can be found 350 m further west.

The Muggesfelder Moor borders the Tarbeker Moor to the west. Both moors were used for peat extraction. Cranes now live in both rewetted moors, some of them all year round.

The parking lot offers a beautiful view over the pastures to the west.
