The valley lies within the municipalities of Affalterbach and Burgstetten in Baden-Württemberg. - This section of the trail leads from Steinächle, primarily along meadow and gravel paths, to Wolfsölden. A beautiful wooden bridge on a flat section of the Wüstenbach stream. Right next door is a larger hiker's crossroads with hiking trails in four directions.
