ヴェレビトでの周辺の簡単なハイキングとウォーキング

I recommend late Autumn or early Spring, when it's not too hot yet. Or a morning hike in the summer. I suggest by car, to the viewpoint where there is a parking lot. Then walk along the very nicely arranged marked footpath to the Zavratnica bay (entrance fee) and on to Jablanac. Swimming is possible in the bay or in Jablanac. For those who want even more, you can continue the path right to the Stinica ferry port. I also recommend a stop at the mountain lodge in the center of Jablanac (nice view)

To be honest... the village is faded glory and the surroundings are dazzlingly beautiful ❤️

Jablanac is a village in Lika-Senj County, Croatia, located on the Adriatic Sea below the Velebit mountain, overlooking the island of Rab. The village used to have a ferry port connecting it to Rab, but in July 2012 it was moved along the coast to Stinica. Wikipedia

Sturdy shoes would be better, even if some people are walking around in flip-flops. It takes about 45 minutes to get from the bay up and back. We had to hurry a bit though. It can be done comfortably in 60 minutes.

Since last year, a souvenir and beer shop has been operating at the bottom of the bay.

Cold Velebit beer, a great choice after swimming!
