In April, we had to cross the small stream that flows from the waterfall. This was done relatively easily in two steps over existing stones.

The Kirkjufellsá river falls there in two stages, totalling 16 metres down. The waterfall is always well attended and offers a very beautiful photo opportunity.

The best way to see seals. Please keep a safe distance and follow the rules of conduct set out there. Be careful: a good spot by the water can change in a short space of time. It is not uncommon for the water to suddenly block the way back and you have to wade back knee-deep.
