The Romanian Evangelical Lutheran Church was founded at the end of World War I (1914-1918). Its founders were the Evangelical Lutheran community from the Transylvania and Banat regions. For a time, the city of Arad was the center of this cult and today it has a beautiful Evangelical Lutheran church. The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Arad laid its foundation stone in March 1905 and the construction of the church was completed in September 1906. The Evangelical Lutheran Church belongs to the neo-Gothic style. Both the facades and the interior feature elements of the typical neo-Gothic decorative language.

The Arad Palace of Culture (Romanian: Palatul Cultural) is a building in Arad, Romania, completed between 1911 and 1913. It was built on the initiative of the Kölcsey Cultural Society according to the plans of the Arad architect Lajos Szantay and houses parts of the Arad Museum Complex and the Philharmonic Hall.

The Orthodox Cathedral of the Holy Trinity (Romanian: Catedrala "Sfânta Treime" din Arad) is a Romanian Orthodox cathedral in Arad, in the Crișana region of western Romania. It is the main cathedral of the Bishopric of Arad. The foundation stone of the new cathedral was laid in November 1991. On the feast of Saint Nicholas in 2008, the cathedral was inaugurated by the Patriarch of All Romania, Daniel.

The palace, which houses the National Bank of Romania, was built between 1909 and 1910 as a bank building. The building is built in the neoclassical style, and what is particularly striking are the ornaments on the first floor, which are flanked by massive columns, each with a Corinthian top. Next to the triptych there is a stone beehive, a symbol of the economy.

The town hall of Arad was built between 1872 and 1876 according to the plans of the Budapest architect Ödön Lechner. Due to the economic crisis that began in 1873, Lechner's original plans were changed and the building was made somewhat smaller. Designed in an eclectic style, the town hall is particularly impressive due to the 54-meter-high tower in the middle and, inside, the lavishly renovated council chamber with portraits of the Romanian royal couple Ferdinand and Maria, which were installed in the 1920s, as well as the stained glass windows dating back to Hungarian times.
