Beautiful waterfall. Unfortunately, we didn't have the full water, but it was still beautiful to see. It looks even more impressive from below than from above.

Beautiful forest section on the Danska Fall loop. The path meanders through the trees. Occassional wooden planks take you safely across muddy sections.

To the north of Lake Kalvsjön you'll walk through the beech forest that sits on the edge of the Valaklitts Nature Reserve. The biodiversity in the forest is magnificient, with a great number of lichens and bird species to look out for.

The Bocksten Man (Bockstensmannen), the remains of a medieval man's body, was found on this site. It's one of the best-preserved finds in Europe from that era and is exhibited at the Halland Museum of Cultural History.

The wooden walkway takes you safely across the marshy ground.

This forest section is beautiful throughout the year. The sun shines through the trees, bringing an ethereal light to the surroundings.

Ästad Vingård is one of Sweden's largest vineyards, located in the beautiful Åkulla beech forests nature reserve. You can visit the vineyard and attend a wine tasting session. There's also a spa, restaurant and hotel on the grounds.

Stunning lake surrounded by green pastures and woods. The countryside is wonderfully calm, and you may well just have the cows and birds for company.
