Albion Square was the seat of the Nelson Region Provincial Government from the late 1850s to the 1870s. All civic affairs were decided here. Today it is a historic reserve, protected due to the large number of historic remains. Great little park with several seats. Great bridges and beautiful flower beds. In the center is a small fountain.

A pedestrian street with great cafes and restaurants. You walk directly to Christ Church Cathedral. Definitely a place to feel good.
