ラウフェンブルク（バーデン）での周辺の簡単なハイキングとウォーキング

Laufenburg was first documented in 1173, when the monastery in Säckingen granted the town as a fief to the Habsburgs. The first documented mention of Loufenberc dates back to 1207; the place name means "mountain near the waterfall, near the whirlpool, near the rapids" (Wikipedia).

A beautiful path and a quiet spot. It resembles a small ravine. There are benches here and there for a rest.

Laufenburg is a small but beautifully preserved town right on the Rhine. There isn't a huge amount to see, but what there is is lovely.

The elevated location of Laufenburg in Baden, especially from the "Kriegerdenkmal" (War Memorial), the "Schlössle" (Little Castle), and the "Kirche Heilig Geist" (Holy Spirit Parish Church), offers a fantastic view of the two Laufenburgs, the Rhine, and the surrounding countryside. An urban dream, surrounded by lush greenery.

Did you know? The Helvetic side of Laufenburg's old town is also called the "multiple town," while the Baden side of Laufenburg's old town is called the "lesser town."

It's like stepping through this tunnel into another world! Out of the city, through the tunnel, and look, pure nature!!! Fantastic!

You can stay overnight at this hostel (€15 per person, including outdoor pool entry, suitable for two people). The Fischbähr (fish bear) is not a bear. "Bähr" comes from "Bahre" or "stretcher." These are the sinking nets (also called "Hamen") hanging from large swaying trees, which could be quickly raised using leverage. The fish were often baited over them.

The two Lauenburgs are a real discovery and well worth seeing 😊👍
