the Treblitzsch landscape park. The park is four kilometers south of Belgern (district of North Saxony) in the district of Treblitzsch and east of the B 182 in the direction of Riesa. The actual park covers only about 5 hectares. The owner of the Ammelgoßwitz estate, Max Schlenker, acquired this area, characterized by very different types of soil (sand to clay), changing moisture conditions (dry to wet) and varied relief, which consisted of extensively used grassland and some woody plants, grouped around swampy areas. in 1928 to create a landscape park.
