Germany's northernmost low mountain range, the Harz Mountains, combine impressive diversity in a small area: dense forests, open farmland, deep valleys, wild rivers, tranquil mountain meadows, and virtually untouched nature. The Harz/Saxony-Anhalt/Mansfelder Land Nature Park is located in the southwestern part of Saxony-Anhalt and essentially encompasses the landscape areas of the eastern Harz Foreland and the Lower Harz. In my opinion, the castle looks more beautiful from a distance than up close. Unfortunately, you can't really get close to it.

Located in the middle of town, right next to a sculptor's studio. From there you have a good view of the castle.
