At the western end of Mallendorf, on a small patch of grass between the Eckartsberga - Niederholzhausen road and Mallendorfer Dorfstraße. Latin cross with minor damage to the corners, probably more weathering damage. Weathering can also be seen on the visible surfaces. Late 15th century. The cross was found in 1935 during trench excavation work on the Hangborn at the "Alte Burg", then stood for some time on the Kegler factory site south of the current location and was finally erected at the current location.
