The only thing that remains of the former castle, which was primarily used to secure trade routes, is the keep, which can be seen from afar. On a walk from the market square to the city park, you can see the building from a variety of perspectives. A tour inside is currently not possible.

The complex is now privately owned and does not allow viewing or getting closer. It is also not possible to enter the tower. A tour along the wall close to the tower is possible. To get a nice view you would have to know the owner well and be allowed in. 😉

The monument is located opposite the town pond. It is dedicated to the fallen of the Franco-Prussian War of 1870/71.

A small cul-de-sac village with a fir farm, quite picturesquely situated. Interesting church, two pictures by T. Knoll and easy access by foot and bike through an underpass through the Autobahn.

The keep itself is showing its age and is in urgent need of a complete core renovation. Otherwise still pretty nice to look at.
