In summer and winter, a great place

This stone slab was the cover of a grave in the Alemannic cemetery located here, dating from the 6th to 8th centuries, which belonged to the village of Wolfsberg, located further down, which disappeared in 1457. Erected in 1908

On a beautiful ridge path with magnificent panoramas you pass the rest area.

Very beautiful narrow path with a steep slope, lots of fun and excitement, especially for children.

The Breitackerhütte is a lovely place to take a break. It's a wonderful vantage point and an idyllic spot.

Beautiful old staircase. Information boards at the bottom and top of the stairs contain some information about it.

The chapel here commemorates the Passion of Jesus: According to the New Testament reports on the Passion of Jesus Christ, the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem was the scene of two events that followed the "Last Supper": + Jesus' prayer to God the Father, during which the overtired disciples fell asleep; + and then the arrest of Jesus. The apse here does not show one of these two scenes, however, but a PIETA, i.e. a depiction of the Mother of God with her dead son on her lap.

Sturdy shoes and surefootedness are not a bad idea for this passage. It can be slippery here even when wet. The path is narrow and goes up and down again and again. Our boys loved it 😁
