In addition to Heck cattle, Koniks are also kept on the south meadows. The Konik is a pony breed from Eastern and Central Europe, very robust and can be kept on pastures all year round.

On the unpaved dike you will come through meadows and fields along the Langenheider Bauerngraben / Strom from Langenheide to the confluence with the Sude. A wide open landscape with very little vegetation, so no shade in summer! The adjacent areas are also flood protection areas "Polder Neue Sude-Ost" and "Polder Langenheide".
