Beautiful at any time of the year and certainly never too crowded. Beautiful little path directly on the canal or alternatively a little higher on the edge of the field with a good chance of spotting game

Open all year round, with a wonderful beer garden in summer. When we came once and it was closed, you could still sit there and buy little things from the fridge on a trust basis (the cash register was there).
