The Straupitz triple mill is a technical monument. A sawmill, grain mill and oil mill were operated here. The oil mill is still in operation today. Here you can get good, freshly pressed linseed oil. The residents were able to confirm this. I was also told that the organic linseed oil does not taste good.

The Houwald family's pretty castle is now a primary school. The outdoor area has been designed to be child-friendly.
