This is a nice covered rest area on the outskirts of Petersdorf.

You can go water skiing here. It is easy to walk around.

On the Petersdorf side of the lake, water skiing is done without any noise using a cable pull system. The correct term is wakeboarding. It is a board, not two skis. The Komoot hiking trail ends at the end of the WakePark. The original path is completely overgrown. But it is only a short path along the side of the road to the parking lot.

Distant view of the Scharmützelsee, a beautiful path winds its way up to the radio mast in the Dubrow Mountains. From there, various downhill options down to the source.
