Hidden within the artificially created grotto here is an interesting small shrine commemorating the Passion of Jesus: the Mount of Olives Grotto in Pomerania. According to the New Testament accounts of the Passion of Jesus Christ, the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem was the scene of two events following the "Last Supper": + Jesus' prayer to God the Father, during which the exhausted disciples fell asleep; + and subsequently, the arrest of Jesus. The rear wall of the chapel already depicts Mount Golgotha (Hill of the Skull) with its three crosses.

This small sacred monument, located here on the side of the road in the lower Pommerbach Valley, was erected in memory of A. Birkenbeil. On the cross is the Corpus Christi, above it the INRI inscription, and at the feet of the Son of God is the funeral notice. A grave lantern completes the complex.

A special gem, built centuries ago but still lovingly maintained today, can be found here in the Pommerbach Valley: "Ollig's Holy House" from 1712. The center of the interior displays, among other depictions in the center of the apse, a so-called mercy seat: a representation of God the Father, the crucified Christ, and the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove.

The mill, romantically situated in the Pommernbach Valley, was originally built to harness the natural power of flowing water. Now, thanks to a modern photovoltaic system, it also harnesses solar power.
