Very nice.

Lovely Black Forest scenery on small roads until Nöggenschwil. After that, the dream begins on small paths through the forest all the way to Höchenschwand. The road closure can easily be ignored.

This small pond on the Legendary Trail is home to a white mermaid and the setting of a legendary love story with a happy ending. Whether you see the mermaid here or not, the bench on the shore offers an idyllic spot for a rest.

Beautiful church in the center of Höchenschwand

The rest area is nicely done, and the marble run is also nicely laid out. However, if you plan to see these in action, you should pack your own marbles - unfortunately there were none on site when we visited.
