"Everything was better in the old days" – we hear that saying often. Back then, there was no internet or television to spread every piece of pseudo-news around the world. Negative news is quickly consumed, and hardly anyone wants to hear or read positive news – it's not exciting enough in these short-lived, exciting times. So, in the past, it was a way to remember a loved one and, on the other, to leave a "message" so that at least anyone who happened to pass by would be aware of it. So, a murder probably took place here in April 1890.
