湿原は静かで自然のままの場所です。 静かに滞在することができますし、そうするべきです。

Here, on the lakeside hiking trail, there's a small bench tucked away, inviting you to take a break. But beware of the mosquito infestation, which can be extreme here during the summer months. The view of the lake is significantly obstructed, but the bench is in the shade.

The Holmweg trail runs above the road through the forest, lined with huge fir trees. The 1 km long trail is a singletrack trail and is easily accessible.

This is the SVT youth camp from 1911. The camp has its own jetty to Lake Stocksee.

The alder swamp forest on the lake is a typical habitat on wet lake shores: Black alders grow on soft, constantly wet soil. Rare plants and animals find refuge here. Today, it is a rare but valuable habitat.

The Holmweg trail on the southwestern shore of Lake Stocksee is a pleasant, wide hiking trail. At the nature campsite, the 1.5 km long trail is paved, with a gravel path further down. From here, you can enjoy beautiful views of Lake Stocksee.

The information board at the bus stop at the crossroads explains the glacial character of this region.

According to the name, a paper mill once stood here. A short avenue of linden trees leads to the bridge over the floodplain. The floodplain becomes quite overgrown in summer.
