The Kursaal building, dating from 1830, is one of the most important buildings in the state spa of Brückenau.

This pergola has grown beautifully.

Anything that might have reminded us of the narrow-gauge railway has since been removed, including the railway bridge. However, you can still cross via a bike path.

There are public toilets here, which are open from 8am to 8pm according to the signs.

The bicycle museum in Bad Brückenau is a worthwhile destination for hikers who want to enrich their tour with a cultural detour. After a hike through the picturesque Rhön, the museum offers exciting insights into the history of the bicycle - from the first running machines to modern designs. The lovingly designed exhibitions and the fascinating stories surrounding the development of this means of transport are particularly interesting. The central location makes it easy to incorporate the museum into a hiking route. A great mix of exercise, knowledge and inspiration!

A large beaver platform is slightly elevated, the other one to the left is a smaller platform slightly lower down. Most of the year you won't see much because of the vegetation. Perhaps in winter and spring, when there is a better overview of this beaver landscape, you can also see the small watercourses better. Many information boards explain something about the beavers and their behavior and way of life. A covered bench invites you to rest.
