The Breitenbacher Lakes are located in the Fulda Auenverbund conservation area with beautiful and sometimes rare flora and fauna. On the south beach and on the peninsula there are many opportunities to cool off in the cool water and enjoy the sun. Pedal boats, stand-up paddling boards and surfboards can be rented and sailing is possible with the agreement of Segelclub Bebra e.V. The Breitenbacher Lake is a fairly large area of water available for water sports. Campers will find beautiful pitches here. The kiosk offers a wide selection of everything from bratwurst to ice cream and cool drinks. Hikers and cyclists can explore the area around the lake.
