A big compliment and thank you to the Ruppertszell hiking friends, they have a wonderful hiking trail that is also very well signposted, but the rest area by the chapel is also quite unique and was donated by the hiking friends, we would like to see something like this more often!

The Wöresbach hiking car park is located near the former hamlet of Wöresbach, which was abandoned at the end of the 19th century. Today, this place serves as a starting point for various hikes in the Wittelsbach region. From the car park, well-signposted paths lead through the forest and the surrounding countryside, for example in the direction of Oberwittelsbach or Unterwittelsbach. Access is via the Wöresbacher Straße between Oberwittelsbach and Rapperszell. The car park is idyllically located in the forest and offers shady parking spaces for hikers.
