The Marterle pilgrimage church is located at 1861 meters above sea level near Wenneberg in the municipality of Rangersdorf. It is beautifully situated and offers a fantastic panoramic view. In good weather you can even see the Lienz Dolomites. The pilgrimage church is not always open. Unfortunately we were not lucky. There is a bench in front of the church where you can enjoy the last rays of the sunset even in winter.

You can also spend the night in the hut. It is run by a private host. It is a self-catering hut.

Very nice guesthouse with beautiful views of the valley and the surrounding mountains from the rooms.

Very nice ambience. There is a small tent meadow and covered seating for the cyclists. Sanitary facilities top, small restoration on site. So highly recommended. My tours on straight out.com
