There's no tower here. Instead, there's a pavilion with benches and a view of the Ötscher. A nice picnic spot, but definitely not a tower.

From here you have a wonderful view of the basin of the “Eggenburg Sea”. When the weather is good, you can see not only as far as the Manhartsberg, but also as far as the mountain ranges of the Rax and Ötscher regions. A great place to linger and rest.

We recommend the guided tour of the Lipizzaners and the bird show. Unfortunately, some areas on the grounds of the Heldenberg appear neglected (district ditch, Lipizzaner playground) or are carelessly designed (the Lipizzaner adventure trail for children consists exclusively of display boards with lots of text. The name adventure trail arouses false expectations here).
