At the Nussdorf-Traisental Prehistoric Museum, you can discover impressive archaeological finds from April to October, dating back 30,000 years to the time of the mammoth hunters. The Bronze Age finds are particularly fascinating, including 2,300 graves with valuable grave goods and a 4,000-year-old grape core, which demonstrates that the people of the Traisental Valley already knew and appreciated grapes back then. A wonderful vantage point with a view over the lower Traisental to the mountains, there is also a bench for a rest.

The parish church of Nussdorf ob der Traisen is an impressive late Gothic building and one of the market town's most striking landmarks. Dedicated to Saint John the Baptist, it is distinguished by its defensive construction, although it is not a classic fortified church. Particularly striking is the massive west tower with its high hipped roof, stylistically reminiscent of churches in the Wachau region. An important historical element of the church is the barrel-vaulted ossuary beneath the presbytery, dating back to 1500. Since archaeological excavations in 1999, it has been accessible again and displays numerous 16th-century inscriptions on its walls. With its impressive architecture and long history, the church represents an important cultural heritage of the region and is a significant example of late Gothic architecture.
