I wasn't sure which I liked better here: the church, or the historically impressive rectory next to the church. In the end, I settled on "both".

I walked past here today. An impressive historic building for a rectory. Almost as big as the church right next to it...

Here you will find a wayside shrine with a Jesus cross, built in 1835.

There are many wayside shrines. But this one is particularly beautiful. Right next to it is a place to rest.

A beautiful castle between Klaffenau and Hartberg. While not in its best condition, in my opinion it has lost little to none of its imposing appearance. Although a sign by the roadside prohibits entry, taking photographs is perfectly acceptable.

This farm belongs to the Klaffenau Castle estate. Essentially, it's no different from many others. But the imposing, albeit somewhat dilapidated, castle behind it makes all the difference.

A small, charming chapel. I hiked past it in winter. There are also some cozy rest areas right next to it. Of course, these are more suitable for warmer weather :) Unless, of course, your name is Chuck Norris...
