From the castle ruins, there's an amazing view of Rattenberg.

The parish church stands on a slight rise in the market town of Brixlegg. It is dedicated to the Marriage of Our Lady and was formerly dedicated to St. Joseph. The parish is located in the state of Tyrol, but—like all parishes in the Kufstein district—does not belong to the Diocese of Innsbruck, but rather to the Archdiocese of Salzburg.

One of Rattenberg's special sights is the parish church of St. Virgil and St. Catherine. This Gothic building has two naves. Once, it was a separate church for citizens and miners. Important artists redesigned the building in the Baroque style. A chapel commemorates Saint Notburga, who was born in Rattenberg. Noteworthy: an elevator leads from the Painter's Corner to the church portal. 😉
