Beautiful view over the hilly landscape, you can also see grazing animals here from time to time.

The wind turbine is always a good orientation point on the many extensive hiking trails around the Bergerhof. On weekends and when the weather is nice, however, the Bergerhof is incredibly crowded and many people flock to the Bergerhof from further afield.

Although there are only a few parking spaces, this parking lot is a good starting point for hikes.

A detour for a bench is not worth it but apart from this patch of forest, benches are rather rare or very old and weathered.

The parking lot is shady and you can start hiking straight away. The access is one lane with few opportunities to avoid each other. I can well imagine that it could be chaotic at times if someone can't handle reversing or is just stubborn.

I don't know if it's rustic, but it's definitely practical.
