The Hessian Tennis Association has been operating a "state performance center" on Rosenhöhe for several decades. It has four indoor courts, five clay courts, and two hard courts. International tournaments are also held here.

It is very suitable for a tour here, both on foot and by bicycle.

The wooded area on Rosenhöhe, where a fitness trail was installed over 50 years ago, was redesignated a few years ago as a core nature conservation zone. The area was taken out of forestry use, meaning that dead trees remain in place.
