Great place for gravel biking - the road isn't always the smoothest, but it's nothing too technical.

Reißinsel is a designated nature reserve and is closed every year from March through June to allow the birds living there to raise their young undisturbed. The northern part of Reißinsel is protected as a "bannwald" (protected forest). This area is not used for forestry purposes in any way. To the south lies a "Schonwald" (conserved forest), where forestry management is specifically geared towards protecting the forest. A handsome sandstone building amidst many terraced houses. Back then (early 20th century), construction costs were capped at 375,000 marks, so a competition was held.

Slightly slippery when wet.

The Collini Bridge connects Mannheim's city center with the Neckarstadt-Ost district across the Neckar River. The pedestrian and bicycle bridge offers a direct, quick crossing and, at the same time, a beautiful view of the river and the surrounding architecture. The bridge is a popular spot, especially at sunset.
