Bremen's Bürgerpark is not only green, but also blue. A branching system of waterways meanders through the entire park. You can stroll along the tranquil waterways and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Emmasee in Bremen's Bürgerpark is an easily accessible destination if you're simply looking for a bit of peace and quiet. Passing clouds are reflected in the lake, and a light breeze rustles the leaves. The lake is named after Countess Emma von Lesum. Right on the shore is the café "emma am see," built in 1964 according to designs by architects Hans Budde and Carsten Schröck. Opposite the café is a rowboat rental if you'd prefer to explore the lake from the water.

The two short Aselmeyer bridges are among the unique features of Bremen's Bürgerpark. Since 1907, they have connected the shores of the small island in the Emmasee lake. They were designed by the Bremen architectural duo Friedrich Wellermann and Paul Frölich. The delicate railings with Art Nouveau ornamentation were crafted in the workshop of the metalworker Justus Leidenberg. The bridges were financed by the bequest of Emma Aselmeyer. They are listed as protected park structures in Bremen's monument database. Especially in the evening, the railings and trees are reflected serenely in the water.

The Weserstadion is the football stadium of the Werder Bremen football club. It is located in Bremen, the capital of the German state of Bremen, directly on the right bank of the Weser River, which gives the stadium its name. The stadium seats 42,100 spectators and features four striking floodlight masts, each 61 meters high and equipped with 51 2,000-watt spotlights per mast. The special feature: The largest building-integrated photovoltaic system in Europe.
