Naoussa has a long Christian history, reflected in its large number of churches and chapels. Many of these churches serve not only as worship services but also as places of silence and personal prayer for locals and tourists, and are usually open.

At first, I thought it was really a boy sitting there, making himself comfortable and engrossed in a book. It's a really great drawing.

The village is truly delightful, with its picturesque maze of winding alleys and the Venetian harbor. It has managed to retain much of its original charm.

The "Bridge of Naoussa" refers to the pedestrian bridge at the harbor of the Greek village of Naoussa on the island of Paros. This concrete bridge with stone cladding is a landmark of the town and an important starting point for the crossing of traditional fishing boats (kayaks) to the nearby beaches.

The Venetian fortress of Naoussa is located in the old harbor and is the most characteristic feature of this beautiful settlement. Built by the Venetians in the 15th century, the fortress served as a watchtower against pirate and enemy attacks, as well as a front line in times of war. Its location was ideal for monitoring the Aegean Sea, and its architecture made it very difficult for enemy ships to approach the harbor, where merchant ships used to dock.
