A small church dating from 1604, perched high on a plateau above the old town of Kardamily, with benches and drinking water. Unfortunately, the church was locked, so we couldn't see the apparently well-preserved historical frescoes (described on an information panel in front of the church).

Prettiest walk ever , starts and finishes by a beach , we saw snow capped mountains ( late April) beautiful stone buildings and well engineered paths

I visited the fort after my hike through the Viros Gorge. That was a successful ending. Just stroll relaxed through the old walls again....

A beautiful vantage point overlooking the Viros Gorge. There is also a small bench here, perfect for recovering from the hike through the gorge and the climb to Chora 🙂

A visit to the castle costs €3 per person. Don't know if it's worth it.
