Pub in a former church

The Òran Mór is a fantastic pub on Glasgow's Westside. If you're in Glasgow, you absolutely have to stop here. The pub was set up in a former church. The atmosphere has been preserved, along with a veritable whiskey selection.

This jewel of architecture and interior design was designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1903. It is a masterpiece of Art Nouveau.

These police boxes exist throughout Glasgow in different colors. The boxes were used as tiny police stations to be able to react quickly in case of an incident. Some of them are known from the SciFi series „Dr. Who“.

Built as the Glasgow International Concert Hall, the Royal Concert Hall is one of the largest halls in the United Kingdom. She was granted royal status just before the official opening on 5 October 1990 at a gala performance attended by Princess Anne.
