Hinterwald周辺の簡単なハイキングとウォーキング

This is where the very comfortable part along the edge of the forest begins or ends - towards Guglwald it then alternates between comfortable and rough.

Although this place is not directly on the hiking trail that runs past (Nordwalkammweg and Kraft-Quelle-Baum-Weg), it is still worth a detour. A lovely resting place with a great view!

It's a shame to put something like that in the landscape.

The residents of the former village of Multerberg were completely expelled from 1946 to 1948 and the village was completely dissolved after it was in the area of the Iron Curtain. From 1950 onwards, only border guards were allowed to enter the area. The houses and the church were blown up and nature “took” the town back. Today only information boards and town signs remind us of Multerberg. It's definitely thought-provoking.

Here, a boundary stone marks the Austrian-Czech border. This area was formerly a restricted area. The "Iron Curtain" continued a few hundred meters further.

From here you have a beautiful view of the valley. Unfortunately the weather wasn't that good at the time of the hike...

The path is already a few meters behind the border with the Czech Republic. Here you are advised not to leave the paths.

From the Hotel AVIVA you have a really great view of the valley and the area. The rooms are all designed with a view of the valley.
