Brooker Creek Headwaters Nature Preserve is a 1,100 acre park that is the natural habitat for numerous plant and animal species. There are many miles of trails open to hikers, cyclists, and runners for you to explore this beautiful, wild park.

Visitors to the Bell Creek Nature Preserve can explore three trails: the red loop, blue loop, and yellow spur. Open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., this 477-acre preserve surrounds Rogers Middle School, offering a variety of trails teeming with wildlife.

Ride along Brooker Creek Headwaters Nature Preserve, a 1,100-acre nature preserve. This preserve is not only natural habitat for various plant and animal species but also protects important wetlands and the headwaters of Brooker Creek.

The Manatee Viewing Center is just off the side of the road and is completely free to the public. You'll likely want to stick around, though, so it's best to go before or after your ride!

Encompassing well over 3,000 acres and including a few miles of trails, Hillsborough River State Park is a popular spot for locals and tourists in the northern part of Tampa. The trails are marked well and are generally well-kept. Make sure to keep an eye out for other trail users since so many other people use these trails.

This tight, wooden footbridge stretches over the Hillsborough River and provides access to the outer trails in Hillsborough River State Park. There is a good amount of trail signage before you cross the bridge and really get your run underway.

Trout Creek Wilderness Park is a gem just north of Tampa. There are paved paths, dirt roads, singletrack trails, and everything in between. Most of the paths are smooth, so you can't really get into too much trouble just riding around on skinny tires.
