The boardwalk tour is totally accessible and they even had two wheelchairs at the park entrance if you needed it. The promenade is wide and gets down to the river from time to time.

Here you can rest under shady large trees. There are drinking water, restrooms, and, of course, parking spaces in case you decide to start here.

The Marjorie Harris Carr Cross Florida Greenway stretches 110 miles east-west across Central Florida, turning the unfinished Cross Florida Barge Canal into a multi-use linear park. This park covers over 70,000 acres and offers more than 300 miles of hiking, biking, paddling, and horseback riding trails while serving as a wildlife corridor. It is home to black bears and other wildlife and contains Florida’s first wildlife land bridge across an interstate. This area was initially developed as an ambitious canal project in the 1500s. The canal faced centuries of setbacks, so today, the greenway protects animals, the Ocklawaha River, and is a popular recreation spot.

This freshwater lake, originally named after Nathaniel A. Ware, a state land official from the frontier period, but was later misspelled on the official title. It offers some of the best views of the water, and there's a dock area where you can take a break and enjoy a closer look.

Unfortunately, there is only a hand water pump here, which does not provide drinking water. But at least you can wash off your sweat there,

This area boasts an elaborate trail system, categorized by difficulty, providing an endless loop of paths through the forest encompassing over 80 miles in total. Catering to everyone from beginners to expert-level enthusiasts, it offers a diverse range of trails.

Fantastic springs. You should definitely go there. Possibly spray with mosquito repellent, then you're hiding something, but definitely worth a visit. You see monkeys, turtles, fish etc. Come and be amazed.
