ナイアガラ郡周辺の簡単なハイキングとウォーキング

​The monument was a gift from Yugoslavia to the United States in 1976 and depicts Tesla reading his notes. It commemorates his design of the first hydroelectric power plant at Niagara Falls using his alternating current (AC) system.

The American Falls are the second-largest of the three falls, separated from the much larger Horseshoe Falls by Goat Island. The third, smaller waterfall is the Bridal Veil Falls, which is next to the American Falls and separated by Luna Island.

Walking from here to the actual waterfall is a great way to experience the power of the rushing stream. Here, it gets faster and faster, and the roaring sounds get closer with every step.

Great views and a lovely place to relax and fish. I met a few people fishing from the platforms, and the water reaches the bottom of the stairs near the parking lot. There are a lot of stairs here, so take your time and hold onto your little ones and your phones while taking photos on the platforms. In some places, the railings are so wide that your phone could fall through. There's also an elevator to take you there and back if you can't manage the stairs.

The view is simply magnificent....

Great hiking trails, beautiful scenery, very relaxing. I just wish people would respect the place and stop littering everywhere.

Cool hiking trail around the lake...

Beautiful views and a moderately difficult hike; definitely a worthwhile experience! However, the end of the trail was temporarily closed during our visit. We had to turn around and take a different route on the way back to Whirlpool State Park. Nevertheless, the walk was pleasant and scenic.
