The Bluff Trail is one of the main trails in Erie Bluffs State Park. Most of the trail runs along the coast of Lake Erie and at times gives you great views of the water. The trail is mostly a narrow hiking path, and has some elevation gain, so it is a moderately challenging trail.

Wintergreen Gorge is a 6-mile long canyon near Erie. At its deepest, the gorge reaches 250 feet. Fourmile Creek runs through the gorge.

Nice small waterfall along the Fourmile Creek Trail. The waterfall is visible from the trail, so it is a great place for a break.

The Bayfront Bikeway follows along Cascade Creek for several miles. At this point, the creek is very close to the trail in a heavily wooded area. On a sunny day, this is a great spot for a break in the shade.

Frontier Park is a great park in downtown Erie. There are a mix of paved and dirt tracks that pass through the park, including the Frontier Bikeway.

The Erie Harbor North Pier Light is one of three lighthouses on Lake Erie. The lighthouse was constructed in 1830 and is still active, although it is now automated.

The North Pier Trail is a great, short trail on the southern fork of Presque Isle State Park. It is an easy trail that gives you a great view of Lake Erie and the lighthouse at the end of the path.
